Unique Cycle Industries is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the financial accounting operations of the company. The ideal candidate will manage a team of five professionals and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger maintenance. This role involves coordinating audit activities and managing month-end and year-end closing processes to maintain compliance and support business decision-making. The candidate must have a good grip on accounting principles and practices, with at least one year of relevant experience in the accounting field.
The Accounts Manager plays a key role in safeguarding the financial integrity of Unique Cycle Industries. This position requires proactive collaboration with other departments to optimize financial performance, monitor accounts payable and receivable processes, and implement best practices in accounting operations. Effective leadership, strong analytical skills, and precise financial management are essential to successfully lead and develop the accounting team while meeting all organizational financial objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of five accounting professionals to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments and collections.
- Maintain and update the general ledger with accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities to ensure compliance and resolve audit queries.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
- Develop and monitor budgets in collaboration with management to support financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting principles across all accounting functions.
- Implement improvements in accounting systems and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their accounting skills and professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business operations through financial insights and recommendations.
- Monitor financial transactions for discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed.
