- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Reconcile accounts, including bank reconciliations, VAT, and intercompany accounts
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Process supplier invoices and client billing
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and other HMRC filings
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and assist in year-end audit preparation
- Support financial compliance and internal controls
- Collaborate with operational teams to align financial and business activities
- Assist with cash flow monitoring and working capital management
Requirements
- ACCA qualified (mandatory)
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
- Solid understanding of UK financial regulations, tax, and VAT
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, or similar) and Excel
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
