Urgent Hiring – Certfied Medical Coder (CPC)

Prequel Systems is seeking a CPC-certified Medical Coder for a full-time, on-site role based in Islamabad. This position supports a U.S.-based healthcare client and requires immediate availability. Candidates must be currently unemployed and ready to join without delay. The role involves working night shifts aligned with U.S. client hours, Monday through Friday, at the Rafi Centre, Zero Point, G-7/1, Islamabad. The offered salary ranges from PKR 160,000 to 190,000 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately code medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and E/M coding systems.
- Apply coding guidelines and documentation requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Focus on coding for Primary Care, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine specialties.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards and healthcare regulations.
- Support the U.S.-based client by adhering to their specific coding and reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Active AAPC CPC certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in U.S. medical coding, specifically within Primary Care, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
- Strong proficiency in ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding.
- Solid understanding of coding guidelines and documentation standards.
- Good command of English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Islamabad with no option for remote or hybrid work.
- Immediate availability and currently not employed.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience with Athena electronic health record (EHR) system is preferred.
