We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our finance team. As an Accounts Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and reports. You will be responsible for various tasks, including processing invoices, managing accounts receivable and reconciling bank statements. This position requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Reconcile & record transactions
- Prepare & send data to customer for reconciliation
- Record cash & bank receipts
- Reconcile bank statements
- Process invoices accurately and promptly
- Manage accounts receivable, including issuing invoices and collecting payments
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Provide support to the finance team as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance procedures preferred
