Panaflex Machine Operator / Graphic Desinger

Winner Ad is seeking a skilled Panaflex Machine Operator / Graphic Designer with a minimum of five years of experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating large-format digital printing machines, specializing in Panaflex and vinyl banner printing, ensuring high-quality print outputs with precise color management and finishing. This role requires a thorough understanding of print file setup, prepress procedures, RIP software operation, and basic designing techniques. Attention to detail and the ability to handle seaming, lamination, and design essentials are crucial to delivering superior print materials that meet client specifications. This position focuses on the technical execution of print projects and graphic design tasks without managing a team. The operator combines hands-on machine operation skills with creative design knowledge to support the production process from digital file preparation through final installation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains quality control throughout the printing and finishing stages, and collaborates effectively with other departments to meet deadlines and client expectations.
Responsibilities

Operate and maintain large-format digital printers, specifically Panaflex and vinyl banner printing machines, ensuring optimal performance and output quality.
Prepare and set up print files accurately, including prepress tasks and verifying layouts according to client requirements.
Manage RIP (Raster Image Processor) software to process print jobs efficiently and correct any printing errors before production.
Apply expert knowledge of color management to maintain consistent and accurate color reproduction across different print projects.
Perform seaming and lamination processes as required, ensuring durability and quality of printed materials.
Carry out print finishing tasks including cutting, trimming, and preparing prints for installation or delivery.
Design basic graphics and assist in creating layouts that align with print production specifications and client branding guidelines.
Collaborate with the design and sales teams to understand project scopes and deliver print-ready outputs on time.
Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor technical issues to minimize downtime during production runs.
Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards throughout all phases of operation from file setup to installation.
Prepare printed materials for installation, managing logistics around handling and placement to prevent damage and ensure a professional finish.
Maintain accurate records of print jobs, materials used, and production schedules to facilitate workflow tracking.
