Responsibilities

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the company’s product lines
  • Conduct product demos for existing and potential customers
  • Provide trainings and conduct learning workshops/boot camps
  • Assist and train practitioners with using digital content in conducting lessons in class, and provide
  • recommendations on best teaching practices
  • Operationally a fundraising and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) business development plan
  • Develop and manage relationships with national and international donor agencies, family foundations, CSR
  • managers, not-for-profits and government ocials
  • Manage relationships with existing business development partners
  • Ideate and create concept notes, technical proposals, budgets and tailored solution sales to CSR funds,
  • not-for-profits, donor agencies and government departments
  • Create, maintain and manage a robust business development leads generation platform
  • Work closely with the Directors of Business Development and Outreach on various departmental initiatives
  • Any other tasks as may be required from time to time

Skills required

  • 5 – 8 years of business development experience, especially in the development sector
  • Cross-sectoral relationship building and management with stakeholders in the education space preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, IT and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Pro-active, self-starting work approach and must be a team player
  • Detail oriented, organized and able to multi-task
  • Must be adaptable to changes and able to work under pressure
