Punjab Saaf Pani Company – North (PSPC-North) has been mandated by the Government of the Punjab to plan, design, manage and execute innovative safe drinking water solutions to over 56 million people in rural areas of the Punjab province.PSPC-North is looking for a dynamic professional for the following position;
Planning and Organizing
1. Assist COO in developing departmental strategy and goals in collaboration with the Strategic Management and Planning department, and communicate the finalized work plan to the departmental staff.
2. Draft and finalize of Organizational security policy by establishing security objectives, goals, processes and plans.
3. Identify risk exposure areas, finalize appropriate corrective plans and ensure their implementation at regions.
4. Responsible for continuous assessment process, making decisions and thereafter security recommendations to PSPC management in order to reduce risk.
5. Responsible for evaluating a threat, calculating the probability of said threat occurring and communicating its potential effect on business.
6. Provide advice and counsel to the Chief Executive Officer on security policy and practices.
General Administration
7. Develop and implement effective administration policies and procedures. Review and update these procedures as required.
8. Oversee general administration services including security, telephone services, reception services and staff welfare.
9. Develop emergency procedures and incident responses.
10. Responsible for ensuring that staff resources and funds allocated to the Security Office are utilized in an effective and efficient manner.
11. Liaising with the emergency services, police, ambulance and fire service to resolve issues and maintain security and service.
Leadership
12. Review the periodic reports received from Security supervisors posted at different regions and issue appropriate directives.
13. Implement improvements and changes to the operation of the Security Department through close supervision.
Asset/ Property Management
14. Ensure implementation of annual asset management plan and make recommendations from time to time to the CEO.
15. Oversee the management of all property management services (excluding filtration Plants and other site equipment) including the building cleaning and security, maintenance and repair and furniture and fittings.
Procurement
16. Oversee the acquisition, distribution, and storage of all office equipment.
17. Oversee the preparation, analysis, negotiation and review of contracts related to purchase of supplies (less than Rs.100, 000).
Problem Solving
18. Responsible, at the scene of serious incidents, for initial decisions as to how the issue will be dealt with, who needs to be informed and/or asked to attend.
Other Responsibilities
19. Monitor and control the administration budget finalized by the Finance department.
20. Responsible for all security associated decisions with the aim of speedy recovery and resumption of normal activities.
21. Implement disciplinary procedures and investigate security breaches.
22. Receive and deal with any information that has a security dimension and deal with this in a confidential manner in coordination with the CEO.
23. Create workplace violence awareness and prevention programs.
24. Develop training programs for PSPC’s security personnel.
